Out-of-State Attorneys: Arranging Chiropractic Care for a Client in Northern Virginia

blue, white, and red flag

Not every attorney with a client in Northern Virginia practices there. Your client may live in the area while your office is in another state, or they may have been injured while working or traveling through the region. Either way, finding a local provider you can coordinate with from a distance takes some legwork. This article covers the clinical and practical side of arranging chiropractic care for a client in Northern Virginia. Questions about jurisdiction or which state’s law applies are matters for you as the attorney.

Where Our Clinics Are

Injury Relief Chiropractic has clinics across Northern Virginia and nearby, so there is often a location close to where your client lives or works:

  • Alexandria

  • Chantilly

  • Fairfax

  • Fredericksburg

  • Manassas

  • Sterling

  • Vienna (Tysons)

  • Woodbridge

All locations are open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 7 PM Eastern time, with free parking.

Coordinating Care From a Distance

You don’t need to visit in person to refer a client. The process works the same whether your office is down the road or across the country:

  • Referral: Call (833) 774-1075 or email info@irchiro.com with your client’s details.

  • Scheduling: Our team contacts your client directly to book their first visit at the most convenient clinic.

  • Communication: Your office can reach our team by phone or email with questions about a referred patient.

  • Records: Records are released with the patient’s signed authorization and can be requested by phone or email.

If your office is in another time zone, our weekday hours run until 7 PM Eastern, which gives West Coast offices most of their afternoon to reach us.

When Local Care Makes Sense

Local care works best when your client lives, works or will be staying in Northern Virginia for the course of treatment. Treatment plans often involve regular visits over several weeks, so a clinic close to home or work makes it much easier to attend consistently.

If your client was only visiting and has returned home, care near where they live is usually more practical. We can still provide records of any care we gave while they were in the area.

What Your Client Can Expect

Your client’s first visit includes a detailed history, a physical, orthopedic and neurological exam and a treatment plan built around their injuries. If the exam suggests a need for imaging or care from another provider, we make that referral. Treatment may include chiropractic therapy, Active Release Technique, spinal decompression therapy and post-injury rehabilitation.

Throughout care, we send appointment reminders and follow up on missed visits to help your client stay consistent. Our article on gaps in treatment explains why that consistency matters.

Lien-Based Care

For clients with an open personal injury claim, we can provide care on a lien basis, with payment deferred until the case concludes under a written agreement. The terms are set out in writing before care begins. Our referral guide covers how this works in more detail.

Working With Attorneys Nationwide

We work with personal injury attorneys across the country and from all firms, with no preference for any firm. If you have a client who needs care in Northern Virginia, call us at (833) 774-1075 or visit our PI Lawyers page.
